Notice on the processing of personal data
This website uses no profiling cookies, contains no forms to fill in and loads no resources from third-party servers — no remote fonts, no analytics, no embedded widgets; the only cookie is a technical one that remembers the chosen language. Only two things involve processing data: the server's technical logs and the emails you send us. They are described below.

Article 01
Who processes your data
The data controller is AURALINK S.r.l.s., with registered office at Viale Giulio Cesare 118, 00192 Roma, Italy, VAT number and tax code 18161151008.
For any question about this notice or about exercising your rights you can write to info@auralink.it.
We have not appointed a data protection officer, because the conditions set out in Article 37 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 do not apply: we are not a public body, we do not carry out large-scale systematic monitoring and we do not process special categories of data on a large scale.
Article 02
What data we process, and why
| What | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Server logsIP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type, outcome of the request | Running the site, detecting faults and protecting it from anomalous or abusive access | Legitimate interestArt. 6(1)(f) — security and continuity of the service |
| Email contentsender's address, name, any company details and whatever you choose to write to us | Answering your request and, if you wish, arranging a site survey or a proposal | Pre-contractual measuresArt. 6(1)(b) — at your request |
We collect nothing else. There is no form on this website: the only way your data reaches us is if you write to us.
Article 03
What we do not do
- We do not profile you or make automated decisions about you.
- We do not reconstruct your browsing: without profiling cookies and without analytics we have no way of linking two visits together. The language cookie contains only
itoren, the same for everyone. - We do not sell, transfer or exchange your data with anyone.
- We do not send you marketing communications unless you wrote to us first, and in that case only about what you raised with us.
- We do not use the data collected here for other purposes.
Article 04
How long we keep it
Server logs: for the technical time needed for security and diagnostic purposes, and in any case no longer than twelve months, unless they have to be kept longer to establish a specific fact or to comply with a request from the judicial authorities.
Emails: for the time needed to handle your request. If a contractual relationship arises from the contact, the data follow the retention periods set by civil and tax law. If nothing arises, we delete them within twenty-four months, or sooner if you ask us to.
Article 05
Who else sees it
Your data stay within a very small circle. The people at Auralink who need to answer you have access to it, as do two categories of external parties acting as data processors under a contract that binds them:
- The hosting provider that hosts the website and the server logs.
- The email service provider through which we receive and store emails.
Both operate on servers located in the European Union. We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area. The up-to-date list of processors is available on request by writing to info@auralink.it.
Article 06
Your rights
Within the limits set by Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the right to:
- Know whether we are processing data about you and obtain a copy.
- Have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Have it deleted, when we no longer have a legitimate reason to keep it.
- Restrict its processing or object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Receive it in a machine-readable format, when the processing is automated and based on a contract or on consent.
To exercise them, an email to info@auralink.it is all it takes. No form is needed and you do not need to give a reason. We reply within thirty days, as required by Article 12.
If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome — protocollo@gpdp.it) or to turn to the judicial authorities. You can do so without contacting us first, but if you tell us we will try to put things right.
Article 07
Cookies
This website installs a single technical cookie on your device: lingua, which your browser stores when you use the IT/EN switch and which contains only the chosen language, for 365 days. It serves to open the website again in that language and, being technical, does not require consent. No profiling or third-party cookies, no local storage, no identifiers, no tracking pixels: that is why you will not find any consent banner to close.
The full explanation, with a check you can do yourself, is on the dedicated page.
Article 08
Changes
If the website changes — if we add a contact form, an analytics tool or content hosted by third parties — this page changes first, and the date at the top shows it. We do not introduce new processing while leaving the notice unchanged.
The applicable version is always the one published here.
